EASY AVAILABILITY WITHIN ITALY
Storing goods at the Sirio warehouse allows them to be traded as if they were still abroad while keeping them within easy reach.
They can remain in a “foreign state” in the warehouse for an unlimited amount of time, suspending the payment of VAT, duties and any other taxes until they are permanently imported.
With our bonded warehouse, traders can delay the collection of goods or build up their stock before distribution, thereby postponing the negative cash flow from the payment of customs duties for permanent imports.
The goods can then be:
RELEASED INTO FREE CIRCULATION WITHIN THE EU
RELEASED FOR CONSUMPTION (PERMANENT IMPORTATION)
TRANSPORTED TO OTHER EU/NON-EU COUNTRIES
RESHIPPED OUTSIDE THE EU
The bonded warehouse also offers several other advantages in terms of trade—especially transit trade—allowing the goods to be reshipped abroad or sold within the country at the most strategic and profitable moment.
Furthermore, it gives traders the opportunity to make purchases when the international markets are most favourable and to sell when the demand on the national or international market is at its highest.
While goods are stored at the warehouse, they can be:
SOLD FROM THE FOREIGN STATE TO A LOCAL BUYER
SOLD FROM THE FOREIGN STATE TO BUYERS RESIDING ABROAD OR OUTSIDE THE EU
DURING THE STORAGE PERIOD, SOME “USUAL HANDLING” IS ALSO ALLOWED, WHICH IS DESCRIBED IN PART BELOW. GENERALLY SPEAKING, THIS HANDLING IS CARRIED OUT TO ENSURE THE PRESERVATION OF THE GOODS OR TO IMPROVE THEIR PRESENTATION OR SALEABILITY.

SIMPLE SORTING AND CLASSIFICATION OPERATIONS
APPLICATION OF BRANDS, STAMPS, LABELS ETC. TO THE GOODS OR THEIR PACKAGING
